Our Room Review reports include initial impressions, good/bad aspects of the room with suggestions for improvement, and a redecoration section packed with useful tips and tools for renovating your room e.g. colour scheme wheel, template graphs for project management, and much more.
Room Reviews involve Decor Rejuvenation reviewing your property. We can assess any type of room as well as areas outside of the house e.g. gardens, patios, etc. We do not provide detailed renovation plans that you would receive from an interior designer, but give an unbiased opinion on what is and is not working in the room. For example, tell you whether a lighter colour would suit a room better, whether a piece of furniture should be removed, etc. The review is done in two different ways: in person or through photographs sent to us.
In-person Room Review.
If you live in London, England, you may request that we visit the property in person. We can only visit properties in the rest of England if you order more than three reports, so our travel expenses are covered. Unfortunately, we cannot view properties outside of England in person unless you reinburse our travel expenses.
Seeing the property in person is the best option because not only do we detail the state it is in, but also comment on any smells, noise, the affect of lighting, and your viewing technique.
A typical In-Person room review should go something like this:
1. Call/email to provide your details. We will respond ASAP.
2. You prepare the property just as you would before a viewing.
3. You treat us just as you would treat anyone else viewing the rooms.
4. You leave us in private to take thoroughly detailed notes and pictures.
5. PLEASE do not ask to see the notes at this point because criticisms in note form are unclear compared to those in the final report.
6. Send payment while the report is prepared. When payment has cleared, we will send the report out ASAP via the method you have specified.
Photography Room Review.
This option is for people who:
-are too busy to prepare a viewing for us
-don't want us to visit their property
-live outside of England
For us to review rooms via this method, you must send us pictures of each room that needs to be reviewed. You can post the pictures, but please provide a stamped and addressed envelope if you want them back. If incorrect postage/ no SAE is supplied, the pictures will be shredded and disposed of. You may prefer to email the pictures by pasting them into the body of the email. Before you send pictures as an attachment, ensure that your computer has recently been scanned by up-to-date virus software.
To take good pictures of the room(s) being reviewed, stand in the centre of the room. A photograph from one angle will not provide enough for an accurate report, so please take more photos if you can.
A typical Photographic Room Review should go something like this:
1. Call/email to provide your details. We will respond ASAP.
2. You prepare the property just as you would before a viewing.
3. During the daytime, stand in the centre of the room and take photographs from every angle.
4. Print off the pictures and post them to us with a stamped and addressed envelope included so we can send them back. If incorrect postage or no SAE is included, the photos will be shredded and disposed of.
OR
Email the pictures to us. Copy and paste them into an email or send the pictures as an attachment. Please note: Before you attach any document, please scan it for any malicious software with an up-to-date virus program.
5. Send payment while the report is prepared. When payment has cleared, we will send the report out ASAP via the method you have specified.
