Is Staging worth it?
Yes if you want an extra 10-15% added to you property's value, in comparison to properties staged by novices. Professional staging can add thousands to the sale price, which is necessary during such a tough market. The cost of Staging is MUCH less than the cost of keeping your house on the market for weeks or months.
Surely I could do this myself...
Staging the property yourself is not the best option. You are emotionally attached to the contents of your house, so it will be difficult to decide what should stay and go. Stagers at AR can decide which contents should stay or be replaced because we feel no attachment or memories when we go over your possessions.
Will the cost be worth that extra 15%?
To adhere to our affordable manifesto, we aim to use products already present in your property, which keeps the cost of furniture rentals down. Some properties desperately need decluttering, not more items and furniture, so there have been times in the past when we have not needed to rent any furniture at all.
Typical Staging should go like this:
1. Call/email us and leave your details. We will respond ASAP.
2. We visit the property to see the room and its contents, and you pay the Consultation fee. We will make notes and take photos so we can plan around your chosen colour scheme, theme, and the room's purpose.
3. We organise furniture rentals and other necessities for the room, considering useful content you already have present. A quote will be sent to you.
4. When payment has been cleared, we will revisit to stage the property.
5. A receipt will be sent to you within a week.
